Drama In Bar As Drunk DCI Detective Insults Migori OCS

There was drama in Migori County after a detective attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Nairobi office hurled insults at OCS officer of Kehancha Police Station. Francis Gichogo Mwita, was later arrested for causing disturbance and hurling insults at the senior police officer and two women.

There was drama in Migori County after a detective attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Nairobi office hurled insults at OCS officer of Kehancha Police Station.

Francis Gichogo Mwita, was later arrested for causing disturbance and hurling insults at the senior police officer and two women.

The women were identified as Happiness Wambura and Habuba Hamisi.

It is reported that the DCI officer first attacked the women, then shifted his rage on the OCS who tried to intervene.

Officer Mwita allegedly dismissed the OCS claiming that he was well connected and could effect his transfer from the station.

A report filed at the Kehancha Police Station under OB number 21/21/04/2019 read: “He abused the OCS of being a fool and there was nothing that he could do to him. He even threatened of being able to initiate transfer of the OCS at once.”

Following his arrest, the DCI detective introduced himself as a police attached to the DCI headquarters in Nairobi.

The matter is reported to be under investigations for disciplinary action to be taken.
