The Communications Authority on Tuesday morning switched off a number of television stations; Citizen TV and radio, Inooro TV, KTN and NTV.
It is not clear why CA officials switched off Citizen TV’s ADN signals at the Limuru station, Managing Director, Wachira Waruru said but assured Kenyans that they were working on resuming normal transmission shortly.
NTV and KTN’s free to air platforms were also switched off but remained uninterrupted on DSTV.
The stations continue their live coverage of the Raila Odinga swearing in ceremony set to take place anytime before 2pm.
